Resilient Africa

As Congress debates a huge Wall Street bail out and financial markets continue to roil worldwide, many are wondering just how much the current economic mess in the United States will reverberate globally.

The credit crisis doesn't just impact investment houses and other corporations, but obviously legal practices as well -- and many are seeing the lucrative deals common in the recent past start to seriously dry up.

Legal Week recently tapped me to write a long essay about Africa, with a particular focus on the South African market. It appears in the current issue of the magazine.
